St Columba’s School has a rich and varied history. The foundation stone for the school was laid by Archbishop James Duhig on 1st October, 1916 just two years after the opening of St.Columba's Catholic Church. The Archbishop was successful in engaging the Good Samaritan Sisters bringing the Benedictine Values to the new school.
